We are having a bookmark contest! The theme is library, books, or reading! Only use pens, pencils, colored pencils, markers, or crayons. No glitter and no paint! To participate, pick up an entry form at the Youth Services Desk. Bookmarks will be accepted September 1 - 30. All bookmark designs must be original work. Popular figures (ex. Disney, Marvel, DC, etc.) cannot be considered due to copyright restrictions. Submissions can be turned into the Youth Services Desk. One entry per person.
Categories are ages 3-5, 6-12, 13-17, and 18 and up. Three winners from each category will be picked and their bookmark design will be available at the library in October, while supplies lasts. MPL staff will judge submissions on theme, originality, and creativity. All winners will be contacted by phone by October 4.
